Hi
We are staying close to Mooi River this coming week and I was hoping to do a short day hike with our 2 x 7year old girls. I see Aasvoëlkrans cave hike is fairly short and should be fun.
Would anyone pls assist with some directions, meaning where to park our car and ir where to hike from for an easy hike to the cave?

Just drive to Ezemvelo Highmoor. You will park there and start/finish your hike from there. Also pay for your day permits.
Its an easy hike and easy to follow the route. If you don’t have the Slingsby map they will sell you a little hand drawn version for like 5bob or so.
Once you get to the section where you must descend down to the cave you will notice two paths, looking down take the left hand one. Easier.
