Hi. I love my backpack and it has been on some memorable hikes but the padding in the hip belt (especially the part against my lower back) does not offer as much support with heavy loads as in the past. Any ideas on how to neatly add padding to the hip belt, what kind of material to use etc?
What backpack? A few manufacturers make lumber support pads. (ZPacks, Seek Outside). You would just need to check if it’s compatible. Maybe check Etsy too.
DM me and I can see if we can make up something for you. We can use an EVA foam (best memory) with spacer mesh. Have a couple or densities in stock so can discuss what firmness you would like. Would just need to work out the best way to connect it.
