I am hoping to find out more about multi-day hiking in Chimanimani National Park in eastern Zimbabwe. I have watched most of the Youtube videos on the subject, and have read most of the information on the internet, but not much is available. One comes across references to the Mbira Trail and the Big Five Trails, and based on Youtube videos, people definitely do overnight hiking there, but I cannot find anything granular and specific. Please help…
I don’t know if you follow the YouTube channel African Hiker, but she’s just done a multiday hike there, as part of a bigger trip to Malawi and a few other countries. The video probably won’t be out for a while, but may include useful info. Plus you can always ask in the comments. I know she had an armed guard for some of the hike, due to issues from the Mozambique side.
