Are there any nice day hikes in the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve? Or is the only option to do the overnight hikes?
At the moment only the Palmiet Trail is open at HHNR. People do trail run (aka hike the Sphinx Route too) but it’s officially closed. Another option is to go to Trails End(Grabouw) and there is a lot to do from there.
There are quite a few trails on the Helderberg Mountain here
There is also the Crystal Pools hike outside Gordons Bay
