Hello, we’re planning to do a multi-day hiking trip in the Mnweni part of the Drakensberg. We mentioned this to a friend who told us a story of a group that was held up at gunpoint and intimidated, and then more stories of shepherds intimidating hikers in the Drakensberg Mountains. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of a similar issue? I’m sure this was perhaps an isolated incident, as I can’t really find anything online.
