Formosa Peak, Tsitsikamma

I’m going to be in the Tsitsikamma area in October and am thinking of climbing Formosa Peak with my teenage son & friend. From what I can gather, the usual way up is from the Langkloof side, and it’s a long and strenuous hike (about 20km up and down). But that would require a very long drive to the start from Nature’s Valley, where we’ll be staying. Does anyone know of a way up from the south/Tsitsikamma side? Or do have just have to grin and bear a very early start?

No, you don’t want to do Formosa Peak from the south! Also not a clear route. Rather go to the Langkloof and start from the dam, along the standard route.
