Group hikes to Tugela Falls in April?

Hi - I am a solo traveler who wants to go to Tugela Falls in mid-April, preferably with an overnight. I don’t feel comfortable going by myself for safety reasons (not knowing the route, falling off a cliff, crime - the usual stuff!) Does anyone know of groups already going out? I’ve reached out to a few operators for guided tours but a solo guided tour is expensive for obvious reasons!

I’d also be open to joining other guided tours to the Drakensberg area going around that time.

My wife and I are planning on hiking the Drakensberg Grand Traverse around that time. That is if the wars in the middle east allow us to get their. The thing that causes me a bit of concern is the dogs…

Hi Elizabeth. We are a hiking group is North South. We are planning an overnight Berg hike early April but can shift our dates. I will confirm with our guys. We have ladies in the team also. We did this as an EBC warm up last year.

Thanks for responding, @DocJames and @Sarge ! I ended up finding an affordable guided tour through Mountain Abandon. Realizing that I need not only people with me but also access to gear since I won’t be shlepping that from out of the country. Enjoy your hikes - I’m so excited to go!
