Hi Guys & Girls

Another new member here living in PE and hoping to get my wife into this thing. Gear-wise we are getting there with car camping but the hiking thing is a new challenge which I hope my wife will cope with.

Looking forward to learning lots!

My advice is start slow and manage expectations. Rather make a hike sound harder than what it is, than being surprised by something harder than expected :wink::+1:

Thanks Arno! I have always been one to push on through and take the bad with the good…my wife not so much…bit of a huishennetjie but she is getting there slowly but surely:wink:
