A mining company has submitted a notice of their intention to prospect for iron and manganese near the Twee River in the Cederberg (close to Mount Ceder and Suikerbossie). There are many reasons why this is a kak idea. The best way to oppose this is to submit concerns as Interested and Affected Parties through official channels.
