Dear hiking friends. I am hiking the Kaapsehoop trail near Nelspruit soon. I’d like to find out if anyone has done it recently and if it is safe to leave cars at the parkings. Perhaps someone parked in the town nearby? Or should I just relax and park at the hut?
I’ll be hiking KH too in a bit Liesl… drove past Barrets Coaches a week ago and there’s a sign at the parking lot that reads ‘Parking is Safe-ish’. don’t know if this is any consolation

Thank you for this. I was there this weekend and the Kaapsehoop huy is actually only about 400 meters from the town so it is also fine to leave your car in town which will make you feel better.
