Hi guys, do you know of any stores in Gauteng that stock La Sportiva hiking boots?
It’s a big purchase, so I definitely want to fit them before I buy them.

Hi what is the equivalent for the La Sportiva Tibet or is the Boreal mens pointer the closest?

As a big fan of the Tibet I’m super disappointed that they were discontinued - seems the market is pushing for lightweight comfort as opposed to rugged durability.
I have a pair of Zamberlan trail shoes and think they are excellent. Their boots are expensive but if you are looking for a proper boot you could look at the Trail Light (similar to Boreal Pointer), Rolle Evo or Vioz Plus.
