Hi, I’m looking for a 3-night hike max, in Cedarberg, I only see a 5 day one on the website, but I also saw this http://conquerthecape.co.za/do-it-yourself-a-spectacular-4-day-hike-in-the-cederberg/, anyone with info, we planning somewhere around November, a group of 7. Regards
The Cederberg is a wilderness area, so there are no set hikes, only established paths. Get the Slingsby “Hike the Cederberg” maps - you’ll be able to plan some very nice 2-, 3-, and 4-day options
a couple of 3-day loops I can recommend:
Kliphuis Campsite - Amon se Poort - Krakadouw Pass / Poort - Heuningvlei Hut and back to Kliphuis via the Heuningvlei jeep track.
Algeria - Duiwelsgat kloof - Sneeuberg Hut - Cederhout Kloof - Welbedacht Cave - Sleeppad Hut - Algeria
November gets pretty hot so make sure to carry enough water and be extra careful with fires.
