Hi everyone, I am in the process of collecting gear before my grand traverse next year. The price of a new sleeping bag is insane for the amount of time it will be used (yes I understand its importance etc). Also needing new boots and other items and money unfortunately doesn’t grow on trees so trying to make a compromise in new vs 2nd hand gear.
If some one finds them selves not needing their ‘TECHNICAL’ (not campmaster cheapy stuff) sleeping bag anymore and is keen to sell please be in touch.
P.S I am looking for the first ascent ice breaker or similar in temp rating as I have lighter weight bags already.
there’s a second hand one being advertised on www.climbing.co.za 's forum. just make sure that the seller is legit (as a general rule I only do COD when buying from unknown sellers).
You don’t mention where you are based, but Safari & Outdoor in Pretoria has a sale from Friday 30 Aug 2019 from 4pm. I saw the advert last night, they are selling the Ice-Breaker new for R2999.
