Hi, the water levels are very low in the Berg at the moment - I did this trail about 3 week ago and did not even take my boots off.
The trail is easy to follow and a bit over grown here and there but does not disappear, a few spots are very eroded and the care here as it very slippery.
Caves are spacious and I would suggest sleeping in the annex as this is a bit more protected and when I was there, it had a strongish drip for water collection.
