Most photogenic hikes

Hi fellow hikers.

I’m a nature photographer and would love to include more hiking trails during my photography workshops.

What would you recommend as the most photogenic hikes you’ve ever experienced… or which a friend experienced.

Thank you! I appreciate your input.

The view from Bergrivier Nek in Jonkershoek is a classic. The Boesmanskloof Trail (Greyton to MacGregor) also has some beautiful lines.

HI Ron
Can you clarify a bit - day hikes only or multi-day as well? And which areas?
Both the Drakensberg and Cederberg are incredibly photogenic, with hikes like the Tugela Gorge, Rainbow Gorge and Sleeping Beauty Cave (Drakensberg) or Wolfberg Cracks, Maltese Cross and Truitjieskraal (Cederberg) showing-off some great features.
I’d suggest checking out Hiking South Africa’s Instagram and Facebook accounts for daily pictures; locations are mostly disclosed; will give you lots of ideas.

Thank you Arno. I Googled some images and the Bergriver Nek does look amazing.

Hi WillemB

Thank you for the feedback. It could be both day or multi-day hikes.

I love both the Drakensberg and the Cederberg and it is a great idea to go and have a look at the Instagram pages.

Has anybody ever hiked the Hexriver Traverse?
