Good day all, I’m Shaun Schutte. New to thinking, only done two hikes in the last 10 years, so wanting to start doing it on a more regular basis. I’m mostly living in Gauteng area but keen to travel for hikes. I work out of counters and only back in SA 3 months out of the year
Welcome Shaun! Glad to hear you’re keen to get our more. Being based in Gauteng, I would highly recommend getting in touch with the Jo’burg section of the Mountain Club of South Africa (MCSA). They regularly organise hikes and have a wealth of information and very experienced members.
