I have been trying to find a slack packing trail (min 4 days) in the above areas for our Durban hiking groups of 8 people. We want a change from the Cape, KZN, and Free State trails, so are looking further afield. We did the Num Num some years ago. I cant seem to find anything. Alternatively, a base from which to do day hikes.

Num Num was renamed to High Five and worth a visit again. You can also contact Wathaba and Mount Komati. Beautiful hikes.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have seen that Bermanzi is also in the area as Wathaba is a bit short, so the 2 could be combined. Unfortunately, the Mount Komati web site has been suspended or is not available as it looks very good. I am not sure that we want to do the Num Num again.
