Hi guys

My friends and I (4 in total) are planning on staying the night at the Tugela Falls.

  1. Has there been any recent reports of theft/robbery in the vicinity at night?

  2. What is the condition of the Tugela Falls Hut?

  3. Does one need to book the Hut?

  1. I wouldn’t camp anywhere near the top of Tugela Falls. Not that any attacks have been reported recently (well, none that I am aware of), but that area has had a disproportionally high % of the total attacks over the years.
  2. No windows, dirty floor and full of litter - but otherwise usable.
  3. As far as I know, it isn’t possible to book the hut, and hasn’t been for years.
